Naming ceremonies come in all shapes and sizes, and for all sorts of reasons. A parent may wish to give their child a unique welcome into their family and friend community, or they may decide they simply don't want to make a religious commitment on their child's behalf. Maybe a blended family wish to celebrate their step-children, or it may be a way to celebrate a child's adoption. People may choose a naming ceremony as a way of encouraging the commitments of supporting adults, and making their own important promises to their child.
Naming ceremonies can also be a wonderful way to celebrate a new name chosen to reflect your inner person, for example to celebrate gender transition or fluidity.

presentation copy of the full ceremony text
at no additional charge.
I hold the NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Naming and Couples
I charge £300 for my Naming Ceremony Package which
includes the following as standard:
Initial meeting
One meeting for script planning purposes
One draft script
One revised script (if required)
One ceremony
One presentation copy of the ceremony script
Additional charges may be made for:
Additional meetings
Travel expenses if further than 30 miles from Weymouth
Overnight accommodation
Trinkets etc not included in original agreement
I believe that celebrant costs should be affordable and transparent.
We will always agree any additional charges before they are added.
